Frequently Asked Questions about the LSAT
How long does my LSAT score remain valid?
Your LSAT score expires after 5 years.
Can I apply to law schools before I take the LSAT or before I receive my score?
Yes. You should note on your application the date that you will take (or took) the LSAT. Your application is not complete until your LSAT score gets to the school. Your score will go directly to the schools you applied to.
How many times can I take the LSAT?
You can take the test 3 times in 2 years. If you take the test and then immediately cancel your score, it still counts towards the 3 limit.
How can I start prepping before my LSAT prep course starts?
There are two basic things you can do to prep early. First, take care of any things in your life you can get out of the way before the course starts. Once the course starts, prepping for the LSAT should be a top priority for you. So, if you can handle some things (such as school projects) early, you should do so.
Secondly, you can start receiving instruction early, if you chose the Super Prep option. Email email@example.com for specific instructions on what you can do early.
